St Barnabas This Grade II Listed Church Building was on the South Hams 'Buildings at Risk Register'. ADG were commissioned to convert part of the church into 12-units for single homeless within the South Ham Area and the other part to be converted to a training centre including restaurant, bar and I.T training. The latter based on a similar scheme in the East End of London. The housing part of the scheme involved insertion of two floors into the rear of the church to provide 3-storeys of accommodation with principal flatlets on the First and Second Floors. In addition the external fabric of the church was extensively repaired including much lime pointing, complete new roofs, pinnacles repaired with specialist stone repairs. |
