High View School Two storey, totalling 2550m2, incorporating 1.5 FE Primary school, L.E.A Nursery, ‘Childrens’ Centre and space for sports and the arts community accommodation. The project has been developed in close consultation with stakeholders, user groups, teachers, pupils, parents, govenors and other relevant parties. BREEAM “Very Good” - Ground source heat pump and rainwater recycling systems. ADG’s education team are designing the new High View Primary School in Plymouth which will replace the local Highfield and Plym View primary schools. It will be constructed on the current Highfield site on Torridge Way following the demolition of the existing school. ADG is working on behalf of the main contractor Interserve Project Services Limited which has been appointed to deliver the new school by Plymouth City Council. It is the latest schools project won by ADG and cements the firm’s reputation as a leading practice in the South West for education design and consultancy work. The two storey solution allows more site for play space with external play deck at first floor. The development has several sustainable features, including passive and natural vents, and sunpipes allowing natural sunlight to be brought into the open spaces. |
