Surestart Centres & Nurseries ADG were commissioned by the Surestart Projects Iniative to provide day care and nursery facilities within existing school and nursery buildings. All three projects were constructed through a partnership contract with Cooper Construction and the works were carried out concurrently. These projects represent a unique approach to early intervention for children aged 0-4, their families and the communities in which they live. ADG created bespoke interiors to provide a bright and stimulating environment to enrich the learning facilities for the children. A new sculpture was also commissioned for the community within the nursery playground. Early invlovement of contractor achieved value engineered solutions and co-ordinated information within the local authority and Surestart partnerships. ADG were lead designers, project managers and interior designers taking responsibility for all consultant appointments. "We were very pleased to appoint the Architects Design Group.
