Exeter Nuffield Nuffield Hospitals appointed ADG as lead consultants and designers for a major capital project to increase the building by 36% in response to growing business. As design proposals evolved, extensive negotiations were required with the Local Authority as the site lies within an important Conservation Area and is overlooked by Exeter School. The hospital was fully occupied throughout the building works and the project initially involved a series of enabling works under three contractors prior to the main contract starting on site. The facilities include a new outpatients unit, enlarged physiotherapy department, new pathology department, additional theatre suite, high dependency suite and general refurbishment and redecoration. |
