Healthcare Support Service Units (HSSUs) In response to changes to HTM01 and European Directives, Nuffield Hospitals invited ADG to join a Steering Group and act as lead consultants and designers for a major business transformation project involving relocating sterilisation and decontamination services out of 39 hospitals into 6 regional hubs to serve the group. The role started with assisting a logistic specialist to identify suitable locations and then securing existing industrial buildings for conversion. Designs for the centres were fully compliant with HBN13 and the team took full responsibility for selection, delivery and installation of specialist equipment including autoclaves and trolley washers. Construction was negotiated with a specialist contractor using a JCT Private without Quantities Form of contract. |
