Finsbury Square Finsbury Square is within a few steps of the City of London and a unique location for people to meet and enjoy an open sunlit area in central London. ADG have worked with Planit Events from inception and developed a project that not only revitalises the square for public use, but provides an incredible column free event space that is almost entirely concealed. The only evidence is an elegant arc that spans the width of the square, and although justifiable as a sculpture in its own right it actually suspends the whole centre of the square and so forms the roof of the venue below. Glass restaurants and a cafe are situated in the newly landscaped square, which also provide reception to a banqueting suite for 2000 people and all the kitchens, parking and infrastructure required. This is an elegant and original solution in response to a unique opportunity. |
