Old Newnham Farm

Old Newnham Farm is a collection of Grade 1 and 2 listed buildings which required extensive refurbishment and contain a number of features, including granite, mullion windows and framed doors, leaded lights, an original cider press and oak beamed ceilings dating back to the Tudor period. The most unusual feature is perhaps the ornate tall chimneys, which dramatically break the skyline.

The West Wing in the Grade 1 listed section included domestic, and agricultural parts, the brief was to convert this into a family home. This required extensive negotiation with Planning and Conservation Officers and also English Heritage Inspectors so as to achieve the end result.
