Palm Court ADG developed a concept design for a 100 bed hotel, 8 apartments and seafront commercial units that includes a three storey boutique restaurant. Planning permission was granted in August 2011. The site was highly prominent and a strategic gateway to the Torquay seafront but constrained by a steep cliff on the north elevation and a dual carriageway to the south. Extensive negotiations with the planning authority has led to a successful conclusion resulting in an area of enhanced landscaping and public realm works. |
