Onslow House The Dormie House was designed for Mr and Mrs Onslow and their five children as a relaxed holiday retreat in Cornwall. The client was looking for a contemporary New England style property suitable for extended family vacations. The design takes full advantage of the large garden and focuses an open plan living space onto the sunny west-facing terrace. The double height entrance is top lit and links the bespoke oak and glass staircase with the open roofed living space. The house is timber-framed and benefits from high levels of insulation, underfloor heating and quality locally sourced materials. The house was completed in 2004. |
