Stowford Rise The Stowford Rise project was to develop a comprehensive master plan and feasibility document for 150 homes with 66% affordable housing and a community centre in Sidmouth. The site was a patch of waste ground consisting of 5 former fields that had been withheld by the local authority over a number of years for housing and was within the town development boundary. ADG worked alongside the Rathbone Partnership to create master plan proposals that were influenced by a strong landscaping strategy. The master plan process included a mid stage public consultation allowing much of the comments to be incorporated. The document was produced in close collaboration with both the client and local authority and was instrumental in aiding the client to tender for a joint development partner. |
