Venton Centre A long relationship with PAC delivered three building projects. The largest of the three was the £3.5 million William and Patricia Venton Centre which incorporated 24 studio apartments with mini kitchens and fully accessible ensuite bathrooms, a sixty place day centre, large restaurant atrium and multiuse activity space supplemented by extensive administrative offices. The challenging site created an opportunity for a multi levelled building which has been a significant benefit to the elderly residents and users. The River View Centre delivers for Alzeimer respite care sufferers and is a refurbishment of a 1970 NHS grey calcium brick nurses accommodation block. The highly insulated render system provides high levels of energy saving whilst the extended ground floor accommodation provides the opportunity for the residents to enjoy fabulous views of the Plym Estuary. The building was completed within limited financial constraints. |
